During December I received my Lollipop Box, and of course as I was enjoying the Christmas break, I didn't end up doing an unboxing of it! But I thought I would share it on my blog, because it's still very much worth sharing!!
As always it comes beautifully packaged, and in a large letter sized box, so even if you are out when it arrives it will still fit through your letter box. So no annoying post office trips or waiting for it to be re-delivered. I've noticed that Lisa has started putting the little 'hello' message on a tag, rather than the inside of the box which I actually prefer because it's another thing I can reuse!
Above is what I saw when I opened the tissue paper (again, I always keep the tissue paper and reuse it!). At this point I wasn't 100% sure on the theme because I chose not to read the info sheet on the lid before I had a look at everything. I didn't want any surprises to be ruined.
Either way, rainbows, and fun bold colours are right up my street so I was happy!
I eventually figured out that this box was themed around the Wizard of Oz!! What a brilliant theme! Lisa had managed to bring it all together perfectly. The rainbows, gingham ribbon, littles bows and houses, it definitely shows how much thought goes into these boxes.
This month's lollipop was also rainbow which was amazing! (Also very tasty!)
In this box there was also a Rainbow necklace which is so sweet! I'm not a mega necklace wearer, but this can easily be remade into a charm for a planner, which is something I'm considering doing!
Something I thought was brilliant about this box was just how well the colours worked out. When you have a rainbow colour scheme, with so many different colours involved it can sometimes look like a big mess of colours. But Lisa has done so well with this box, and the box as a whole is just a pleasure to look through!
I absolutely loved this postcard, the mixed media style definitely gets me inspired, and I think I'm going to have to pull some ideas together and have a go at creating my own mixed media art again!
I was considering sending this postcard off as a travelling postcard, but I think I'm going to have to keep it for one of my journals because it's just so beautiful!
Lastly there was a beautiful sticker sheet in here from Peace Love Plans Shop on Etsy! I'm definitely going to use this in one of my future planner spreads.
If you want to check out the Lollipop Box Club, then you can do so by clicking here.
The box cost's just £15 when you subscribe, and there's FREE UK delivery!
You can buy previous boxes for £17, but these are limited, so be quick!
(There's still some of this box available here)
Next month's box theme is 'Pizza and Popcorn' and there's a sneak peak on the website if you want an idea of what that will look like.
I hope you enjoyed having a nosey! Thank you for reading!
