Lollipop Box Club, Unboxing! February 2017!

It's that time again! I've got my February Lollipop Box to share with you all!
The theme of this kit is Pizza & Popcorn Party, which I think is a pretty fun and unique theme.
As soon as I opened the box I could instantly smell popcorn, I was pretty intrigued as to where the smell was coming from...

If you haven't seen or heard of the Lollipop Box Club before, it's a crafty subscription service, and each month you get a kit full of various crafty bits and pieces to use in various projects. If you are a journaler or happy mailer, then this is definitely a box you might want to consider. Bear in mind though it's made up of lots of little bits and pieces, rather than full packs of supplies.
Personally I like that there's such variety in each pack, but I know some people may not prefer having lots of small things.

As always the boxes are so beautifully packed, you can tell a lot of time goes into the packing process. Plus it all somehow managed to stay in place even after travelling through the postal system!
At first glance the thing that instantly jumps out at me is the Pizza paper clip... safe to say I'm now obsessed with it!

Above is an overview of everything that is in the kit! As always there's a mixture of stickers, ephemera, memo sheets, various embellishments, ribbon, a mystery gift, a DIY, a pen, paper clip, washi, and of course a Lollipop Box wouldn't be complete without a lollipop!
This photo should give you a good idea of what the Lollipop Box Club is about.

Now this was this month's mystery gift! It was also the reason the box smelt so strongly of Popcorn... It's a lovely Popcorn scented candle! The mystery gift each month isn't always craft related, and I quite like that. I also think it's great how Lisa incorporates other small businesses in these kit's, I love coming across new shops!

There were also some stickers from Peace Love Plan Shop, these ones had a fun 'Popcorn party' theme!
Something that I'm also really excited to use in a journaling spread, is an actual Popcorn box. Not something I've ever thought of using before, but how fun would that look on a journaling spread documenting a date night or something?!

One thing I really love about these boxes is the thought that goes into each individual piece of packaging. I absolutely loved how these pegs have been packaged and displayed. Such a simple idea, but they just look great! There's definitely many ideas in here if you are a happy mailer, for how you can package up letters and gifts for a penpal, in a really fun way!

As always there's free printable's for everyone who subscribes to the box! These were this month's freebies. I'm not a massive printables fan, mainly because my printer isn't the best. But I think I'm going to have to hop on, and get these cute ticket printables, how nice are they?!

December 2016 Lollipop Box Club Box, Unboxing!

During December I received my Lollipop Box, and of course as I was enjoying the Christmas break, I didn't end up doing an unboxing of it! But I thought I would share it on my blog, because it's still very much worth sharing!!

As always it comes beautifully packaged, and in a large letter sized box, so even if you are out when it arrives it will still fit through your letter box. So no annoying post office trips or waiting for it to be re-delivered. I've noticed that Lisa has started putting the little 'hello' message on a tag, rather than the inside of the box which I actually prefer because it's another thing I can reuse!

Above is what I saw when I opened the tissue paper (again, I always keep the tissue paper and reuse it!). At this point I wasn't 100% sure on the theme because I chose not to read the info sheet on the lid before I had a look at everything. I didn't want any surprises to be ruined.
Either way, rainbows, and fun bold colours are right up my street so I was happy!

I eventually figured out that this box was themed around the Wizard of Oz!! What a brilliant theme! Lisa had managed to bring it all together perfectly. The rainbows, gingham ribbon, littles bows and houses, it definitely shows how much thought goes into these boxes.
This month's lollipop was also rainbow which was amazing! (Also very tasty!)

In this box there was also a Rainbow necklace which is so sweet! I'm not a mega necklace wearer, but this can easily be remade into a charm for a planner, which is something I'm considering doing!
Something I thought was brilliant about this box was just how well the colours worked out. When you have a rainbow colour scheme, with so many different colours involved it can sometimes look like a big mess of colours. But Lisa has done so well with this box, and the box as a whole is just a pleasure to look through!

I absolutely loved this postcard, the mixed media style definitely gets me inspired, and I think I'm going to have to pull some ideas together and have a go at creating my own mixed media art again!
I was considering sending this postcard off as a travelling postcard, but I think I'm going to have to keep it for one of my journals because it's just so beautiful!

Lastly there was a beautiful sticker sheet in here from Peace Love Plans Shop on Etsy! I'm definitely going to use this in one of my future planner spreads.

If you want to check out the Lollipop Box Club, then you can do so by clicking here.
The box cost's just £15 when you subscribe, and there's FREE UK delivery!

You can buy previous boxes for £17, but these are limited, so be quick!
(There's still some of this box available here)

Next month's box theme is 'Pizza and Popcorn' and there's a sneak peak on the website if you want an idea of what that will look like.

I hope you enjoyed having a nosey! Thank you for reading!

September Lollipop Box Club Box - 'Just My Type'

I finally had the chance to open my September Lollipop Box Club, box! This arrived about few days before I moved, and since then I haven't had a chance to just sit down and open it up. During this time the October one has already arrived! (I'll be doing the usual unboxing on my channel for that one). I didn't want to miss sharing this one with you guys though, so thought I'd pop up a blogpost.

I've been informed that this particular box is completely sold out now (obviously haha), but if you like what you see then be sure to check out the Lollipop Box Club subscription.

Above is an overview of everything that came in the box. Can we take a moment to appreciate how beautiful the colour combination is for this box?!
If you couldn't tell the theme of this kit is 'Just My Type' so there's lots of text and bold fonts being used in here. As always there is a massive range of stuff inside, you can use them all how you wish, or there is a DIY included. For this box is tells you how to create a mini clipboard.

I absolutely love the two handmade paper clips in this month's box. There's a lot of 'pink and fluffy' style of paper clips out there at the moment. But these ones are nice and bold! Which is a style I much prefer! Surprisingly the washi tape is one I've not got yet, so that's a bonus for me haha.
Also I'm loving these scrabble style stamps! They are something a little bit different.

There was a selection of papers and ephemera in the box, some of my personal favourites were these cute little chipboard frames, I'm definitely looking forward to using those! But also the typewriter postcard, which has actually been painted by Lisa's daughter, Hollie! It's very unique, and her style of painting is so lovely.
I think the papers, and ephemera in these boxes are one of my favourite things about it. There's always such a massive range and it's a great way to bump up your stash.

Also there were some stickers, which have been designed by the lovely Charlie from Sea Salt & Paper! These are definitely going to be hoarded for a while, they are just such pretty designs.
At the bottom of the box there were the printables, which included a load of really beautiful happy mail designs. They will be perfect to use on the envelopes of some outgoing happy mail!!

I hope you've enjoyed seeing what was inside the September Lollipop Box Club box, again I'm so sorry for the delay, but you can see why I just couldn't not share this with you guys!
