Lady Bug On A Pug!

When it comes to paperclips, I'm very picky. Especially with ones which I want to use in my planner, I see the big 'fun' kinds all over Instagram with adorable designs, but a majority of them have been made from card, and I've always been very apprehensive about them mainly because I'm scared I'd damage them etc.
When I came across Lady Bug On A Pug, and saw that she was making them from GLITTER vinyl (Yep, not just Vinyl, but GLITTERY VINYL :D ), I had to get in touch.
They came packaged in some tissue paper and a pink mail bag, they travelled all the way from the USA to the UK and arrived completely undamaged.

I searched Jamie's shop and fell in love with so many, but narrowed it down to these three.
I chose a little Doughnut (Or Donut ... I still haven't a clue which spelling to use haha), a Flamingo, and a Bow. I thought the Bow would be handy if I had a more 'official' planner setup for work, and didn't want it to look too 'cutesy'. But I couldn't not chose a couple of cutesy ones!

The back of the vinyl is felt, the paperclip is glue in there and is incredibly sturdy! I think these are the most durable cute paper clips I've come across, and I also still can't get over how beautifully glittery they are!

I was able to choose the colour of the vinyl, thread, and paper clip, that was used on all of the ones I chose, which I think is great especially if you are choose one to go with a particular planner! (As you can see, this cute Doughnut one goes with my pink Finsbury Filofax perfectly!)

Jamie has a massive range of paper clips available, and there's also a ton of colours to choose from. She was lovely to talk to and one of those completely down to earth shop owners, which is always great if you have a query.

Prices range from £1.97 up to £2.80 per clip. Though a majority are around the £2.47/£2.63 mark.
P&P to the UK is £3.95 for one paper clip, then around 6 or 7p is added for every other paper clip you buy.

Obviously you are purchasing from outside of the UK, so P&P will be more expensive, but I feel like for the quality of clip you get, they are less likely to get damaged and will last a lot longer. Which is why I would definitely be able to justify spending that sort of P&P.

Ankepanke!

Today I have another beautiful package of goodies to share with you all, this time it is from a shop called Anke Panke!
Talk about snazzy packaging ay?! I absolutely love this mailing bag, it’s sooo shiny!
Something I always appreciate with companies is the way they package their products.
Little touches like the ‘FUN MAIL!’ sticker just makes me smile, and if I’m smiling before I’ve even opened it, then first impressions have gone well!

When I came across Ankepanke on Etsy, I fell in love with her adorable designs and products! I found that she had a website and I just had to get in touch.
The stamp sets I chose, I had just one thing in mind to use them for, journaling!
We've all seen those emoji stamps that are about (I'm yet to get my hands on some), but what's better than summing your day up with an emoji stamp? A CAT EXPRESSION STAMP THAT'S WHAT!
How adorable are they?!

I hoped these Kitty stamps would fit in my Ban.do planner, in the monthly section, and they do! They fit in them perfectly. I was on the fence as to how to use those monthly pages, but now I can just sum up each day with a Cat expression! I'll also decorate the pages with the usual washi and stickers, but I'm so glad I have something fun to use these pages for now!

One of the extras Anke sent in the package were these brilliant Chalkboard word stickers! I absolutely love them they will be perfect to caption photos in my scrapbook, or even on the bottom of polaroid photos, they are such a great size. Another little detail which was just adorable was the piece of card that was in the package to make sure everything stayed flat, it had this little illustration on. Little touches like this that really make me smile!

The other stamp set I received was the Tape Stamp Set, I was super excited to play around with this, I could think of so many uses for it! I especially like the idea of using a lighter coloured ink to stamp them with, then stamping a fun word stamp on top in black ink!
I really loved the variety of patterns there is in a pack, and also the mixture of 'lighter' stamps (like the 5th one down on the left hand side) and 'darker' stamps (like the 6th one down on the left hand side) there is.

They also sit in the monthly sections in my Ban.do planner absolutely perfectly. If you are wondering the boxes in the Ban.do planner are 42mm wide, the Tape stamps are 36mm wide. I can highly recommend the Tape stamps for any planners out there, to fill in gaps decoratively or highlighting things (using a light colour ink so the text would show up obviously haha).

Of course I had to try them out, and I have to say I'm REALLY impressed. Acrylic stamps can be rubbish quality (they might not stick to the block, or they're too squishy), but these one are proper quality! They aren't too squishy, and I really enjoyed using them.
I think my coloured ink pads need a bit of TLC though, as the Tape stamps didn't come out as well in the colours, but I tried them with the black and they were perfect!

Anke also sent me a couple of her postcards, which again are just as beautifully designed as the rest of her products! I'm going to have to keep the pink one which says 'have an awesome day!', to display on my future studio room when I eventually move out!

Overall, I think Anke's shop is absolutely beautiful, and the prices are very reasonable!
She is based in the Netherlands but of course ships to the UK.

I will link all the products I was sent below:

Kitty Stamps (€9/£6.25)
Tape Stamps (€9/£6.25)
Chalkboard Word Stickers (€3/£2.08)
Awesome Day Postcard (€1/£0.69)
Cake Postcard (€0.50/£0.35)

To give you an idea of how brilliantly reasonable the prices are (especially considering you would be purchasing from a shop outside of the UK)

If you were to order all the products linked above, it works out at around £22.21 for the items, tax and shipping to the UK!

If you were to order just one of the stamp sets, it works out at around £8.64 for the items, tax and shipping to the UK!
(Prices are approx, I used the google currency converter to roughly work them out)

I can assure you that these stamp sets are amazing quality and well worth the money, plus you would be getting a very unique design. Anke's shop is completely beautiful, so even if the above items don't interest you, she has a wide range available so you might find yourself a gem.

I hope you've enjoyed having a read, I love being able to share beautiful shops like this with you guys. Anke is absolutely lovely and she also has an Instagram which you should definitely check out here!

Pipsticks Sticker Subscription!

I love finding new companies/shops that I’ve not heard of before, so when Pipsticks got in touch and asked if I wanted to review one of their Pro Packs, I took a look and decided it would most definitely be something I would like to review! (Stickers, yesyesyesyes!)
Can we just stop and talk about the packaging first please?! So the sticker goodness was all inside a translucent envelope (made out of tracing paper material, with their own design printed on it!), then to help protect it, it was put inside a plastic sleeve. I’ve never seen packaging like this before and I absolutely LOVE it!

So I know what you are thinking, ‘What is Pipsticks? What’s a Pro Pack?’
Well Pipsticks is a sticker subscription service (YES, STICKERS COME RIGHT TO YOUR DOOR, EVERY MONTH!). They offer different packs for different age ranges, their pro pack is aimed at the older sticker lovers. If you have any kids, they also offer a one for younger sticker lovers, so that might be something to look into! (I’m sure it’d prevent them from stealing all yours too)

The lovely people over at Pipsticks source stickers from loads and loads of different designers/brands/suppliers, and put together subscription packs. I did recognise a few from the pack, but that's because I've come across many different stickers in my sticker loving life.
Above is all of the stickers I received in the pack!

Instead of buying a pack of stickers and only liking a few of them, or trying to use them all up on different projects, Pipsticks gives you the opportunity to get a bigger variety, but in smaller quantities. I think it’s a brilliant idea, and for any Smashbookers, Planners, or creative journalers, I personally think it would be perfect because lets face it, when you’ve used a few stickers from one sheet, you want to move onto another sheet and mix it up a bit!

There's a mixture of puffy stickers and flat stickers, you don't know what you will receive, (though the Pipsticks Instagram shares many beautiful photos of their sticker sourcing travels) it's a massive surprise. I know some people aren't a fan of surprise bundles, but honestly with stickers, you can't really go wrong right? Considering there's so many projects you can use them on, you are bound to find a use for them somewhere. If not, then you could always swap with friends or do what I usually do with stickers I haven't used, keep them for swapbot swaps and snailmail!

Also, #stamplove !! I couldn’t not include a photo of these beautiful stamps, because here in the UK we seriously lack in pretty stamps!

Pro Pack Prices are as followed:
One off monthly payments of:
$15 per month and free P&P to the US, or $3 shipping internationally
(Converts roughly to £9.61 + £1.92 shipping to the UK)

OR

You can subscribe up front for longer, and save money:
$80 for 6 months and free P&P to the US, or $3 shipping per month internationally
(Converts roughly to £51.27 up front + £1.92 shipping to the UK per month)

There's also an option to subscribe for 12 months, you can find more information on all the subscription options here!

You lucky ducks can also get 15% off any order too! Just use the discount code: GREEN15

There were also a few other little things included in the bundle, a postcard which you can design/doodle on the front, and a really sweet quote card which I absolutely love!

Below is a photo of the full contents of the bundle!

Overall I think this bundle is definitely worth the money. The variety you get and the work that's gone into the packaging is definitely worth the money! Even though it is a US company, I think the shipping is very reasonable, and it arrived in great condition (I'm always worried about things getting damaged when they have been shipped from overseas). So for your UK folk, this might be a good one for you! Of course any US folk, definitely go for it! Free shipping?! Win win for you guys.

I'm planning to use a lot of them in my creative journaling, as they are the perfect sizes, and the bigger ones would work brilliantly in my smashbooks, so I'm not worried at all about them not getting used!

Again don't forget to use the code GREEN15 for 15% off your order! I hope you guys liked having a nosey at what I received in this awesome little package!

Have a lovely day! - Daisy X
