Fancy Paperie Etsy Shop Share!

So recently I was sent a beautiful package of paper goodies to share with you guys from Fancy Paperie!
I featured them in my recent Collective Haul video, you can see that here.
Amanda, who is the owner of Fancy Paperie sent me a variety of products to show you, all of which she designed herself. She has a pretty unique style which is one of the things I really loved about her products. They have a lovely hand painted feel, and the colours used are so beautiful!

Above is the Pastel Floral letter set, included in this set are x6 green envelopes, x12 sheets of card stock to write on, and then x6 letter seal stickers. I was surprised that the cards you write on were in fact card not paper! It's definitely different to any other writing set I've had before, and I was really impressed with the quality of the card.
The stickers have been hand cut so they aren't 'perfect', but again I think that adds to the handmade feel of all the products.

The Fancy Floral postcard set was definitely my favourite out of everything I was sent!
I think I just preferred the pattern and colours used on these, plus I'm a bit of a sucker for pretty postcards. You get six in a pack, and they are completely blank on the back. These are also the only product I received which have a glossy finish to them, which I definitely prefer to the matt finish of all the other products.

Above is the Hello Doll Floral Greeting card, this was completely blank on the inside so it can be used for any occasion. I tend to use cards like this a lot when I'm sending RAK's or when I want to add a little note in a giveaway package. Alternatively if you want to write a letter to a penpal on something other than a letter set, greeting cards are just as lovely to use.

The last thing Amanda sent me was one of the cards from her Holiday Greeting cards collection. Again this card is blank on the inside, so it is more versatile. You can buy this card in a pack of ten, you get x5 of this design, and then you'll receive x5 of the white fox design! They all come with a brown kraft envelope.

Overall I am impressed with Amanda's designs, they are beautifully unique and I can't wait to start using them! I feel like the print on the postcards is much better quality than the rest, I'm not sure whether this is just because they have a glossy finish or what. But they are just much more crisp than the other designs.
Saying that though, her prices are very reasonable for the products you receive. The postage is a little pricey to the UK, so definitely keep that in mind if you aren't from the US.

Overall I definitely encourage you to check out Amandas shop and social media links, all of which I will leave below for you:

Thanks so much for reading!

Kings On Toast Planner Review!

So as you may have seen over on my YouTube channel I recently shared a brand new planner I'd been sent to review!
I talked about it a lot over there and showed the insides, but I really wanted to do a additional blogpost just sharing close up photos of the pages and how it's all laid out.
When searching for a planner, this is something I always look for. I feel like a planner is a very personal tool in someones life, so it's nice to know before hand that it will be something that is totally up your street!
I'm warning you now that this blogpost is going to contain a batch of photos, and then at the end I will have a sum up of my review, a link to the video if you want to hear a little more or see it in 'real life', and I will also have a discount code for you all to use!

(Cleaning guide, also at the back)

I'm still very new to the spiral planner world. I have my Ban.do one, which I absolutely love but I use it as a journal so it's a little different.
When I was asked if I wanted to try this planner out I was a little apprehensive, because I've not really ventured into that area before. But I thought what the heck!
I still haven't figured out a way to productively plan my blog and YouTube to their full potential so I may as well give it a try.
When I saw the way the planner was laid out I was very impressed and it really was right up my street. The decoration was minimal, but not bare, and the way things were laid out seemed perfect for the amount of things I tend to plan each week.
Many blog planners I've seen in the past only have space to plan 3 or 4 blogposts a week, this one has seven! Of course I'm not planning to get a blogpost up everyday. But it's really nice to have the option, or if I want to get two blogposts up in one day etc.
The quality of this planner is so good! It also comes in different cover designs, so if this isn't for you, then there are other options available.
Unfortunately the planner doesn't start until January 2016, so I will have to wait until then to fully use it. But I've filled in the person info sheet, and the paper quality is pretty good. It's not like top quality, extremely inky pens may not be so good. But I've used my Coleto pens and they don't really show through enough for it to be an issue. I'm definitely not worried about that at all when I use it in 2016.
I hope that's given you a better idea of this planner!

You can watch the video I did on this planner here:

Lady Bug On A Pug!

When it comes to paperclips, I'm very picky. Especially with ones which I want to use in my planner, I see the big 'fun' kinds all over Instagram with adorable designs, but a majority of them have been made from card, and I've always been very apprehensive about them mainly because I'm scared I'd damage them etc.
When I came across Lady Bug On A Pug, and saw that she was making them from GLITTER vinyl (Yep, not just Vinyl, but GLITTERY VINYL :D ), I had to get in touch.
They came packaged in some tissue paper and a pink mail bag, they travelled all the way from the USA to the UK and arrived completely undamaged.

I searched Jamie's shop and fell in love with so many, but narrowed it down to these three.
I chose a little Doughnut (Or Donut ... I still haven't a clue which spelling to use haha), a Flamingo, and a Bow. I thought the Bow would be handy if I had a more 'official' planner setup for work, and didn't want it to look too 'cutesy'. But I couldn't not chose a couple of cutesy ones!

The back of the vinyl is felt, the paperclip is glue in there and is incredibly sturdy! I think these are the most durable cute paper clips I've come across, and I also still can't get over how beautifully glittery they are!

I was able to choose the colour of the vinyl, thread, and paper clip, that was used on all of the ones I chose, which I think is great especially if you are choose one to go with a particular planner! (As you can see, this cute Doughnut one goes with my pink Finsbury Filofax perfectly!)

Jamie has a massive range of paper clips available, and there's also a ton of colours to choose from. She was lovely to talk to and one of those completely down to earth shop owners, which is always great if you have a query.

Prices range from £1.97 up to £2.80 per clip. Though a majority are around the £2.47/£2.63 mark.
P&P to the UK is £3.95 for one paper clip, then around 6 or 7p is added for every other paper clip you buy.

Obviously you are purchasing from outside of the UK, so P&P will be more expensive, but I feel like for the quality of clip you get, they are less likely to get damaged and will last a lot longer. Which is why I would definitely be able to justify spending that sort of P&P.

I hope you enjoyed reading! Have a great day! - Daisy X
