Smash Book Sunday! | 7 |

For this Smash Book page, I ended up using a lot of packaging, and notes from when I bought stickers from various Etsy shops, to do a sticker haul on my YouTube Channel.
The main colours I based this page around are the little orange and pink squares on the pocket, at the bottom of the page. I searched through my Smash Box and found some other bits and pieces which went with those colours rather well and arranged them on the page!

Down at the bottom of the page is where I put most of the packaging for the shops.

♥ Thank you sticky note was from Swci Stationery.
♥ The blonde girl sticker was from the address label of my order from Michelle and Patch.
♥ The glasses and book sticker was from The Library Designs.
♥ 'Always Smile' note was from a penpal.
♥ The Apple label from a Kikki-k order.
♥ Orange Number washi I received as a gift.
♥ Navy triangle washi is from a Brimbles Box.
♥ Teardrop gems are from Hobbycraft.
Pink lace washi was a gift.

At the top and inside the pocket is where I put a lot of other random things that I just found in my Smash Box. I was surprised at how many things I had that just went with this page really well!

♥ Line of stamps from Anke Panke.
♥ 'To Daisy Love Emma x' label and orange packaging, is from a RAK I received.
♥ Various items in the pocket are notes I've received in orders, photos, postcards and other larger items I didn't want to use anywhere else, but still wanted to keep.
♥ 'Admit One' washi is from eBay.

I did do a video on this page, which you can watch here:

Thanks for reading!

October Mini Project - Films to watch!

As you guys may have seen, either on my Blog or my Instagram, I've been adding to my little Halloween project booklet this month! If you want to see a little more about where I got the things to put it together, then have a nosey here as I did a whole separate blogpost on it.
In this blog post I am going to share a couple of the pages I've done!

So I decided to document a couple of pages on Halloween films I wanted to watch. I chose two that I've not see in a while, and two that I've never seen before.
As always I had a rough idea of how I wanted it to look, but it did turn slightly different. I focused on layering a mixture of papers, journaling cards and washi tape, then once I'd done that I went back in with odd stickers to fill in extra spaces.
The little monster stickers were sent to me as a gift, the pumpkin sticker I got in a set from my local craft store, and the alphabet stickers were from Amazon and Hobbycraft.
I used some typewriter style stamps I had to stamp out the film titles, and then I hand drew the squares to use as tick boxes.

The two films in the above photo, I received from my friend for my Birthday and I've just not had the time to watch them. I do love a good scary film, but I definitely have to be in the right mood for them. Of course October is the perfect time to watch scary films, so I'm glad I got to do this, this month!

I left space next to the check boxes to stamp the date I watched each film and also give it a star rating out of five. After watching a couple on my list I realised that I naturally forget about just how good some of the plot lines are. Insidious I hadn't seen for a few months, but I'd completely forgotten just how creepy the plot is haha.

So yes! They are the first two pages I completed in my little Halloween project! I love how they turned out and it was the perfect way to 'break the ice' with this project. It's a simple little prompt to go with, and it makes it less intimidating to carry on.

I will be sharing some more pages during November, so keep an eye out for that!
I'll then share a full flip through over on my YouTube channel once I've completed it.

Thank you for reading, and Happy Halloween!

Smash Book Sunday! | 6 |

So, this is a Smash Book page none of you have ever seen before!
Why? Because my camera decided to completely fail on me when I was putting it together. Unlike like a show & tell sort of video, I can't just re-record it! :(
But thanks to my blog, I still get to share it with you, because I'm actually really happy with how it turned out!
It may or may not have something to do with all the fun Yellows on the page ...

I managed to Smash Book a lot of things that I've had sitting around for a while. It's always a good feeling when that happens, like you've finally found that bit of ribbon a forever home in your Smash Book haha.
There's a big mixture of things on this page, none of them really relate to each other at all. I received them all at different times, and they've just been sitting in my Smash box, waiting for me to use them.

The wooden 'Daisy' was sent to me from a penpal.
♥ 'Happy Mail' sticker was from my Happy Mail Brimbles Box.
♥ Cloud washi tape is from Cloudy Cow.

This wooden 'Daisy' was something I've struggled to find a place for, mainly because it's obviously bulky. I also felt like I might want to use it somewhere else, and had the mindset of 'what if' I need it for something else in the future?! When in actual fact, unless I'm going to make friends with someone else called Daisy, and send them a gift with this attached to it. It's highly unlike I will ever use this elsewhere. Plus it was sent to me from a penpal, so I wouldn't actually want to send it to my hypothetical friend called Daisy, ahah!

It was tricky trying to figure out a way to stick all of these bigger things down, without it looking like just a couple of bigger things stuck on a page.
I find that using washi tape and smaller things to stick on top really help with this. I tend to treat the bigger things as the background, and then when I'm arranging the smaller things on top, I try not to cover the bits of the background that I like the look of. It's always best to use bigger things on a page that you already aren't keen on, and don't mind covering up almost fully.

♥ Scratch card I received for my birthday from my Aunty.
♥ Gold foil 'hello', from the websters pages colour crush packaging.
♥ Newspaper bat cut out, from a swapbot swap.
♥ Heart 'roll sticker' packaging, from some stickers I bought.
♥ Brown & Yellow gemstones, from Hobbycraft.

I hope you enjoyed seeing this Smash Book page, even though I don't have the process video to go with it. Sometimes these things happen!

Have a lovely Sunday!

Smash Book Sunday! | 5 |

So before I get started with talking through this page, I just wanted to say that basically everything on this page is from Ankepanke! I wanted to keep the lovely packaging that came with the stamps she had sent.
Of course there's a few things that I added because they just worked well with the colour scheme etc. I can't recommend Anke's shop enough, she has some really sweet stamps and stickers available! Her prices are great too, so make sure you check her shop out!

When Anke sent me the stamps, she also included these two stickers. I wasn't sure where to put them at first as I know I wanted to keep them, but not just as unused stickers. So of course popping them in my Smash Book means that I get to keep them, and incorporate them into a Smash Book page!
The little cat drawing (I'm pretty sure it's hand drawn, but it looks so neat it could be printed!) saying 'for stability' was a definite keeper. I cut this little guy out to put in here, and actually kept the off cuts to use in my mail, for stability! ;)

♥ The Orange flower is a die cut from The Range.
♥ B&W Heart Washi is from Cloudy Cow.
♥ Orange and Blue dot stickers were sent to me as a gift.

I kept as much as I could from the packaging, it was all so so lovely! I couldn't not keep this address label, it's for sure one of the cutest ones I've ever received. The actual envelope that everything was packaged in was silver holographic?! So awesome. The Cat stamp is from her shop, and also the Washi stamps in the top left.

♥ Cloud Washi is from Cloudy Cow.
♥ Plastic flag (next to the cat stamp) is from the Smash Brand.
♥ Yellow Washi was sent to me as a gift.

I decided to add the little envelope of postcards to the page. I didn't want to stick the postcards in directly, as if I wanted to use them in the future I wouldn't be able to. So I love having them in here, so I can use them when I want, but I don't have to rip up the page to do so!

♥ Kraft Paperclip Tape (left hand side), is from HEMA.
♥ Alphabet Stickers are from Hobbycraft.
♥ Gold striped Washi is from Cloudy Cow.

If you want to watch the process video of me putting this page together from start to finish, then you can do so here:

I hope you enjoyed having a closer look at this page, it's one of my favourites so far!
